Every website at some point during its growth and maturity will need
to implement a database. Let's face it, it just makes sense. The more
data or content you have, the easier it is to manage in a database
of some sort. Let's take a simple example like a contact list. Yes
you may start off with 20 or 30 contacts, but what happens when it
grows into hundreds or even thousands. You will need some way to manage
all of this data and make it accessible to you and your company all
the time. A database is a perfect solution for this scenario. It is
scalable and easy to manage.
I offer database design and implementation. I can then "connect" your database to your website to make it data-driven using server side languages such as Active Server Pages. Data-driven website's are much more complex on the back end but in reality make life much more easier on managing it. Whether it is a small scale Microsoft Access database to keep contacts or a large scale SQL Server Database that stores the entire content of your website, I have the experience to do it. You can count on me to custom tailor solutions to meet your needs. |
